Lola's 100 Things

I've seen this on quite a few blogs, so I thought I'd give it a whirl myself. Not sure if I'll be able to come up with a whole 100 at first, so this may be a work-in-progress.

Here goes...

1. I love being in my 30s.
2. I've loved being every age.
3. Well, except turning 25.
4. That was very difficult for me. I didn't think my life was where it should be.
5. Sometimes I awake in the wee hours of the morning, and can't get back to sleep.
6. Usually this happens on days I look forward to sleeping in.
7. I have no kids.
8. My husband and I have done nothing to prevent having kids for the past 5 years.
9. No, we haven't seen a doctor to see if anything's wrong.
10. I have an awesome sex life.
11. Our driest spell has probably been when we've only had sex once every week or two.
12. I've been married for six years.
13. Well, in December it will have been six years.
14. I grew up very religious.
15. Left.
16. Returned.
17. Quasi-left again.
18. To many, I may have led quite a checkered past in my mid-20s.
19. Sexually, at least.
20. I'm not sure how many sexual partners I've had.
21. Somewhere around 15-20, I imagine.
22. I didn't have sex until I was 20.
23. I gave my first blow job when I was 17 and was so surprised when he came all over my pajamas.
24. I didn't understand what was happening.
25. Despite my sexual past, I'm pretty sexually naive.
26. I love email, texting, chatting, but I HATE talking on the phone.
27. I avoid it at all costs--even with family and close friends.
28. We don't own a car.
29. I run errands on my bike. Or take the bus. Or take a cab.
30. I have a big, complicated family.
31. We have the cutest dog; her name is Sallie.
32. We anthropomorphize her like crazy.
33. She's our baby girl.
34. I've never had phone sex, even though I've had a couple long distance relationships.
35. I like taking pictures, but I'm not very good at it.
36. I love to bake and sometimes I enjoy cooking.
37. I have run two marathons.
38. Well, the same marathon two years in a row.
39. I enjoy running even though it sometimes hurts my shins and knees.
40. I think I look a lot like my dad.
41. I like to think I'm pretty open-minded.
42. But I can be fairly judgemental as well.
43. If I fail at something a couple times, I tend to quit.
44. I can get addicted to most things online - checking email, checking blogs, playing games, etc.
45. I'm a time waster and a procrastinator.
46. I'm also a planner and an organizer.
47. Sometimes I'm funny when I'm drunk.
48. Sometimes I'm mean.
49. My husband and I have never really fought.
50. My husband was married before to a woman to liked to fight. A lot.
51. I do not think I'm very creative.
52. At one point in my life, I wanted to be a cinematographer.
53. I even went to film school...for a quarter and a half!
54. I don't really enjoy writing, but I love blogging.
55. I've never really like poetry. Of any kind.
56. I love to travel!
57. Unfortunately, my travel experience has been way too limited.
58. I love reading on the Kindle.
59. I'm currently in a master's program and working on my teaching license.
60. I want to be that high school teacher that all the boys drool over.
61. I'm trying to lose weight and get a firm, sexy body.
62. I rarely like to shop.
63. Occasionally, I'll get in a mood and shop for hours without hardly buying anything.
64. I wish I were wealthy. I'd definitely love shopping then.
65. I'm so excited to go to Costa Rica in January!
66. In 6 years of marriage, we've moved 9 times.
67. We've lived in the Midwest (MN), on the East Coast (NYC), and on the West Coast (Portland area).
68. I love my husband more than anything in the world.
69. Except maybe sex.
70. I've been told by a few that I'm a really good cocksucker.
71. I really enjoy it, too.
72. I'm pretty easy and laid-back.
73. I once moved more than 1000 miles away from a long-term boyfriend, 'cuz I thought it would be easier to break up with him.
74. It wasn't.
75. One of my biggest regrets is how I ended things with him.
76. My favorite (current) TV shows are Modern Family, Community, and Cougar Town.
77. My husband and I can relate almost anything back to a Friends episode.
78. My husband and I are often thinking the same thing at the same time. It's eery.
79. I usually wear jeans and running shoes to work.
80. I pretty much hate most of my wardrobe.
81. I wish I had more shoes. Or at least sexier shoes.
82. My mom was killed in a car accident when I was 17, a senior in high school.
83. That drastically changed my life forever.
84. I still miss her. A lot. Especially during any thing major in my life.
85. I have a Smart Phone that I use a lot. Perhaps too much.
86. I don't have a favorite sexual position. It depends on the day, the mood, etc.
87. Watching my husband get a massage (strictly professional) is totally erotic.
88. I love comment love. It makes me feel so special.
89. And loved.
90. I've had sex in public places only a handful of times (in a parking ramp, at a party, on campus, in the woods by a river).
91. I usually wake up hungry, but I don't always eat breakfast.
92. I'm relatively lazy.
93. I hate being told what to do.
94. I hate being told I'm wrong even more.
95. I love being told I'm sexy.
96. I often think I'm not.
97. I hate my nose. Always have.
98. I usually sleep in only panties.
99. I grew up being the pickiest of eaters. Now I like to try new foods.
100. Sometimes.
