216/365 - Petting Zoo

Every August, my school sponsors a neighborhood gathering.
Complete with free food and a petting zoo.

We didn't actually go into the zoo (it's more for the kids), but it was fun to look at the animals.
For such a small zoo, there was quite a fun variety.
Plus, they were giving pony rides, too.

Today, Jasper went for a scuba dive while I went for a 10-mile run.
It was super hot!
And humid!

While he was packing up his scuba gear, there were some cute little ducks that wandered into the campground.

I made the most delicious meal for dinner tonight.

It's been ridiculously hot and humid the past few days.

I'm talking the whole outside is just one big sauna.

Where I have to wear clothing. Booooo!

I'm trying to be positive about it.

(I actually really love hot weather.)

Because next summer we're planning to move to the USVI
where it will be a sauna most days of the years.

So, these days are kind of like practice.

Plus, I get to wear cute sun dresses.
