About This Blog

Inspired by Hubman's fabulous 365 project this past year, I've decided to join him in 2011. I did attempt this back in 2009 on a different blog but was wholly unsuccessful. I hope that I do a much better job this time around.

Goals (in order of priority):
  • Take (at least) one picture every day.
  • Post one picture every day (or backdate the photos, if I'm not accessible to the Internet. Like when I'm in Costa Rica in Jan).
  • HAVE FUN!!
  • Experiment and try new things with my camera and photo editing software.
This will be more of an experiment in endurance...to see if I will actually be able to stick to it. I cannot guarantee that these photos will be particularly artistic or even good. Somedays I may just be lucky enough to simply get something thrown together quickly and last minute. Some days/weeks the photo may be the same as an OPW photo or one of my HNTs. Some pics will be G-rated; some will be more graphic. Many will probably feature my little girl, Sallie (the cutest dog. ever.). Yes, I'm 100% guilty of anthropomorphizing my pet.

I'm not promising magnificence but hopefully stamina.

    So far so good! It looks like we've both made it 90 days. Yippeeee! I also gave it a shot last year on another blog and fell off before the first 90 days so that's been my "first" goal this year. I think I've only missed one day. Wow.

    BTW -- Love your 100 Things list. We have quite a bit in common. ;) 'Cept I'm older. LOL

    Congrats on only missing 1 day. Wow, indeed! I haven't been nearly as good...I think I've missed 9. :(

    Some lovely photography here...and quite a challenge you have set yourself. I am a lover of the self portrait and take many myself but 365 a year, I think that would defeat me, so go you!
