My Sallie is THE best snuggler.

And I absolutely adore this about her.

This morning, she was snuggling right on my chest when I woke up.

I don't particularly like the way my neck looks in this picture, but my lips looked so gorgeous that I decided to post it anyway.

Jasper met me downtown after work tonight to watch the High Heel Dash.

Unfortunately, it was a drizzly evening, and there weren't very many runners.

Kind of a bummer.

It was still very fun to watch, and I totally wanna run this next year!

Here were the rules for the race:

Must be 18 + 

Heels must be 3" or higher (no wedges).

No adhesives may be used to secure shoes to feet.

Knee pads, helmets & wrist guards are encouraged.

Got a little sweat mark on my shirt...while shopping at Target.

I love this running trail! It's only a few blocks from my building.

I love that I can go for a "trail" run right in the city - nestled in the median of a major street.

Tonight, we celebrated Mother's Day by going with my family to dinner and the theater.

We went to a local pub to celebrate a friend's birthday tonight. It's kind of a cool place. In addition to regular restaurant dining tables and chairs, there are also lots of couches scattered throughout. They provide lots of board games to play while you're there. Our friend also brought Jenga, and we couldn't help but play.

Trust me when I say this tower was really impressive. It's a little tough to tell in this photo, but it's all balance on one center piece at the bottom.

I think the game actually continued a couple more rounds after this one.
