My adult acne has been plaguing me for most of 2011. I finally got so frustrated by it that I actually bought some face wash, astringent, acne treatment to try to combat it. This is the first day I used it. I wanted a before picture. Now, let's see how long it will take to get a good after picture.

Try using rubbing alcohol twice a day until your acne starts to clear up and then go down to once a day until you see the results you like. I had severe adult acne and spent thousands trying to clear my face. My step dad is a vet and he told me to try rubbing alcohol and it worked!!! Imagine getting advice on acne from a vet....and the best part is that it worked!!! I have told so many people about this and everyone has had the same results, just don't use it on spots where you don't have break outs because that will cause your skin to become really dry. My T-Zone is the worst and it looks great now :) I hope that helps....if not then it only costs $1 for a bottle of rubbing alcohol at the dollar tree versus hundreds and thousands spent elsewhere lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, Helga! I'll give or a try.
ReplyDeleteCute title. "AcneDote" is a clever play on words, and I'm not just saying this as a one-time English major and an unabashed word nerd.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can take no credit. That's the actual name of the product. :)
ReplyDeleteLet me rephrase: AcneDote is a clever name for a blog post dealing with acne. As a product name, it's an odd choice.
