Today's adventure was kayaking.
I'm not a very experienced kayaker, so I was lucky enough to be in a double seater with one of the guides. It was a really fun experience. The section of the river we did (about 11 miles) included a couple Class I rapids and one Class II. Of course, the river was running pretty high, so the II were probably more like a 1.5, if that. :)

We saw LOTS of turtles out sunning themselves as we paddled along.

The first shot is really cool. The P.O.V. from inside the kayak, and the bow (I think it's the bow) of the kayak itself gives the picture an exciting feeling of immediacy. We like the turtles too. They really know how to relax on a hot day.
